An Online Auction Supporting VCCA
The Virginia Center for the Creative Arts is pleased to present LONG VIEWS, an online art auction sustaining a future of creativity. Instead of hosting its annual fundraising gala in person this spring, VCCA is inviting Fellows, friends, patrons, and art collectors everywhere to participate in this virtual benefit auction celebrating VCCA and the outstanding contributions of its Fellows to the world of art and culture.
We’re honored to be showcasing work by leading visual artists, and we hope you’ll join us in this opportunity to collect art by Fellows and friends of VCCA. Proceeds will support VCCA’s mission to provide time and space to national and international writers, visual artists, and composers of talent and promise to bring forth their finest works, because the arts are vital, diversity is a strength, and creativity is essential.
To register on your phone, text vccalongviews to 243725.
Auction Open: May 7-15, 2021
Online and mobile bidding is now open to the public! The auction will close on Saturday, May 15, with “Last Look,” a virtual livestream reception starting at 5 p.m. ET. Bidding will close during the event at 5:15 p.m. ET.
