TAX STATUS


VCCA (Virginia Center for the Creative Arts) is tax-exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. We are classified as a public charity under sections 509(a)(1) and 170(b)(1)(A)(vi) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to VCCA are deductible. A copy of VCCA’s audited statement and IRS 990 are available upon request.

 

State and Federal Support

VCCA is supported in part by the Virginia Commission for the Arts, which receives support from the Virginia General Assembly and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
