VCCA Board, Staff, Fellows and Friends,
I will start by saying I have been truly blessed by the staff of the VCCA welcoming me with open arms seventeen years ago. I personally wish to thank my cousin Jimmy Rose for informing me of the job opening and Suny Monk for affording me the opportunity, in September 2003, to join the staff at such a magical place. Nothing could have prepared me for the serenity and beauty of the VCCA.
I’ve had opportunities to meet exceptional artists from all walks of life from all over the world. The memories of the VCCA will forever hold a special place in my heart. Which brings me to the purpose of this letter . . .
I am very excited to share with you a new opportunity that God has given me. I have accepted the position of Community Outreach Coordinator for Amherst County Habitat for Humanity, where I have been on the board for numerous years. Habitat for Humanity is a Christian-based organization, and I look forward to using my God-given purpose to diligently step into the role of Community Outreach Coordinator in January 2021!
As I start a new chapter in my life, I pray that the VCCA have continued growth and success in all of your future endeavors. I will miss VCCA Board, Staff, Fellows, and Friends but will never forget the remarkable times we’ve shared over the years.
