VCCA-US Fellowship

Prix Résidence Moulin à Nef

An opportunity for professional artists
of the Aquitaine and Midi-Pyrenees region of Southwest France
to visit VCCA in the U.S. — Mt. San Angelo in Virginia

This fully funded one-month residency takes place at VCCA's beautiful Mt. San Angelo campus in the foothills of Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains. The VCCA-US Fellowship includes a private studio, private bedroom and all meals prepared by a skilled chef. Twenty-four other highly accomplished artists from all over the United States and around the world will also be in residency.

All meals and housing are included, but the selected artist will be responsible for his or her own travel to Amherst, Virginia and all personal expenses.

VCCA is less than one hour from Thomas Jefferson's renowned Monticello, whose distinctive dome, the first to cover a private home in America, was inspired by Halle aux Bleds.

Nearby cities include:
Lynchburg — 25 kilometers away
Charlottesville — 80 kilometers away
Washington, D.C. — 240 kilometers
